Government Pissing Off The People

My Brother-in-law does not usually have much to say but lately I have seen his frustration level with our "national leadership" skyrocket. He is a smart guy, even if he was schooled by the government. This was supposed to be a comment about my Congress/Joke post. I think he had to get some stuff off his chest. So I give my forum over to him and he will say many things you have heard here but just in a much more civilized manner. He is a fellow capitalist and a patriot and has had the honor of serving this nation a duty of which he and all our family are proud of. The floor is yours Bro.

I tried to post comment...but it was too long

Have you noticed how O is in such a big hurry all the time? Have you noticed how everything in Congress is a huge rush job? I think they inherently know that they pulled a fast one on the voting public. They know that they have a very limited time frame to jam legislation through before the next election cycle. They instinctively know that they are far more liberal than the public at large. They are confused that their policies are not polling well but they are overwhelmed with a sense of urgency to take advantage of a gift that they have so they scurry about to push through the most sweeping raft of socialist legislation they can in an attempt to fundamentally recast out great nation in a more European form before the music stops. The clock is ticking and the writing is on the wall...from healthcare to energy to war on terror to union organizing the Obama agenda is not fairing so well when you begin to shine the light of economic reality on it. None of their so called reforms has garnered significant popular support nor resulted in things getting better...most Americans other than green nuts know that cap and tax will raise energy bills, most Americans know that card check will lead to fewer jobs, most Americans are pretty happy with the idea of waterboarding the bad guys, most Americans know that insuring 40 million uninsured is going to cost someone a hell of a lot of money, most Americans know that multi trillion dollar deficits are extraordinarily bad, most Americans know that taxes are going to go way up for all of us, most Americans know that uncle sam shouldn't own car companies or banks or anything else (except maybe for a bad ass military) because they are horribly inefficient. Most Americans are realizing that this President is off the charts liberal and that Congress is an absolute sham. Obama, Pelosi, Reid and the rest of their lemmings know the gig is almost up so they are scrambling like mad to get as much written into law as they can before the next election cycle. Poll numbers are going in the wrong direction. Unemployment is going in the wrong direction, Foreclosures are going in the wrong direction, the Deficit is going in the wrong direction. It is only a mater of time my friends - cold hard economic facts will provide the definitive proof that this administration is just plane wrong. Just like under Carter all the fancy speeches and hand shaking in the world will not change unemployment or inflation or taxes - eventually more and more Americans will start to wonder why they are sitting at home unemployed or why they are paying such ridiculous taxes or why they just can't seem to afford anything because a dollar just doesn't go as far as it once did or why their electric bill is high or why the rest of the world just doesn't seem to listen to us anymore or why we have to drive crappy little cars or why the government decided that grandma's knee operation didn't make the rationing quota or why things got so bad all of sudden in Afghanistan or why is it not getting hotter or why don't Congressman use the government health plan or why doesn't the President send his kids to the public school or why is GDP so low or why do the French, Iranians, Palestinians and North Koreans like us so much? Best thing we can do is continue to point out the folly of these policies and wait for the inevitable melt down so we can point to the record and say we told you so. It is sad but it will take economic pain and suffering to teach the unholy union of misfit anti-establishment morons (unions, greens, socialists and other assorted well known one issue idiots that make up the democratic party) that their pathetic lives will be better off if they sit down shut up and let adults run the country. Adults that understand that the real world involves trade offs, that you can't expect the rich to joyfully work their ass off and hand over all they make to provide free healthcare to everyone, that nuclear power is the only real alternative energy, that smaller is better when it comes to government but bigger is better when it comes to automobiles, that you have to work for a living, that you can't change evil men with words, that redistribution through taxation is a profound form of thievery that encourages laziness, that marriage is between a man and a woman and that America is Exceptional.

Now if I could just get him to hang a Gadsden flag in his office or better yet a Confederate battle flag.
