Government Pissing Off The People

My Brother-in-law does not usually have much to say but lately I have seen his frustration level with our "national leadership" skyrocket. He is a smart guy, even if he was schooled by the government. This was supposed to be a comment about my Congress/Joke post. I think he had to get some stuff off his chest. So I give my forum over to him and he will say many things you have heard here but just in a much more civilized manner. He is a fellow capitalist and a patriot and has had the honor of serving this nation a duty of which he and all our family are proud of. The floor is yours Bro.

Have you noticed how O is in such a big hurry all the time? Have you noticed how everything in Congress is a huge rush job? I think they inherently know that they pulled a fast one on the voting public. They know that they have a very limited time frame to jam legislation through before the next election cycle. They instinctively know that they are far more liberal than the public at large. They are confused that their policies are not polling well but they are overwhelmed with a sense of urgency to take advantage of a gift that they have so they scurry about to push through the most sweeping raft of socialist legislation they can in an attempt to fundamentally recast out great nation in a more European form before the music stops. The clock is ticking and the writing is on the wall...from healthcare to energy to war on terror to union organizing the Obama agenda is not fairing so well when you begin to shine the light of economic reality on it. None of their so called reforms has garnered significant popular support nor resulted in things getting better...most Americans other than green nuts know that cap and tax will raise energy bills, most Americans know that card check will lead to fewer jobs, most Americans are pretty happy with the idea of waterboarding the bad guys, most Americans know that insuring 40 million uninsured is going to cost someone a hell of a lot of money, most Americans know that multi trillion dollar deficits are extraordinarily bad, most Americans know that taxes are going to go way up for all of us, most Americans know that uncle sam shouldn't own car companies or banks or anything else (except maybe for a bad ass military) because they are horribly inefficient. Most Americans are realizing that this President is off the charts liberal and that Congress is an absolute sham. Obama, Pelosi, Reid and the rest of their lemmings know the gig is almost up so they are scrambling like mad to get as much written into law as they can before the next election cycle. Poll numbers are going in the wrong direction. Unemployment is going in the wrong direction, Foreclosures are going in the wrong direction, the Deficit is going in the wrong direction. It is only a mater of time my friends - cold hard economic facts will provide the definitive proof that this administration is just plane wrong. Just like under Carter all the fancy speeches and hand shaking in the world will not change unemployment or inflation or taxes - eventually more and more Americans will start to wonder why they are sitting at home unemployed or why they are paying such ridiculous taxes or why they just can't seem to afford anything because a dollar just doesn't go as far as it once did or why their electric bill is high or why the rest of the world just doesn't seem to listen to us anymore or why we have to drive crappy little cars or why the government decided that grandma's knee operation didn't make the rationing quota or why things got so bad all of sudden in Afghanistan or why is it not getting hotter or why don't Congressman use the government health plan or why doesn't the President send his kids to the public school or why is GDP so low or why do the French, Iranians, Palestinians and North Koreans like us so much? Best thing we can do is continue to point out the folly of these policies and wait for the inevitable melt down so we can point to the record and say we told you so. It is sad but it will take economic pain and suffering to teach the unholy union of misfit anti-establishment morons (unions, greens, socialists and other assorted well known one issue idiots that make up the democratic party) that their pathetic lives will be better off if they sit down shut up and let adults run the country. Adults that understand that the real world involves trade offs, that you can't expect the rich to joyfully work their ass off and hand over all they make to provide free healthcare to everyone, that nuclear power is the only real alternative energy, that smaller is better when it comes to government but bigger is better when it comes to automobiles, that you have to work for a living, that you can't change evil men with words, that redistribution through taxation is a profound form of thievery that encourages laziness, that marriage is between a man and a woman and that America is Exceptional.

Now if I could just get him to hang a Gadsden flag in his office or better yet a Confederate battle flag.

Trusted Journalist

A lot has happened since I last posted but let us leave it in the past much like my busted computer. I am working on getting a new one as I have a few moments here at work let me just say this about the death of Walter Cronkite. When someone dies the immediate family is sad, yes as it should be. But to hold this man up as a truly great American is an insult to all truly great Americans. This "most trusted man in America" was a friggin disgrace and a joke of a journalist, I'm sorry a "broadcast journalist." This is the man who declared the war in Vietnam as unwinnable after the Tet Offensive in 1968. Typical Washington liberal jerkoff calling the war a lost cause from his bully pulpit. Vietnam Veterans should be outraged with this dick, he should be held in as high regards by you all as Jane Fonda. The troops won the battles of the Tet Offensive and virtually wiped out the Viet Cong. Which was what the communist NVA and leaders wanted; one less faction to deal with after the war you see. But it was easier to go along with the politicians who would not allow us to win that war, so Walter declared it unwinnable and stupid America followed in lockstep with the bullshit the liberal media was putting out. Now I have also read that he waded ashore with the troops on D-Day. Last thing I read was that U.S. troops fought their way ashore on D-Day, those in the rear were afforded the luxury of wading. Doers do, this guy was an armchair quarterback who never achieved anything real in life just sat back and criticized those in the arena, cowering behind his microphone hoping no one would see him for the coward he was, much like all liberals. He tried to classify the war in Iraq with the same unwinnableness but the man in the White House had much more conviction than Walter and far more faith in both God and the troops fighting.

I wish America had seen the signs then of this merging of politics and "journalism" maybe we would not be where we are today; a Congress and a White House full of asshole communists and communist ideals that go all the way to the top. Today we have a media that decided our last two candidates for president both were unworthy of the job but that meant little to a public who just wanted to be a part of something that they were told was historic. It started with Walter Cronkite, this merging of two forces that are sucking the American way of life out of the country as quickly as possible. Farewell Walter Cronkite I wish you Godspeed , my condolences to your family. That being said I do believe America is better off without and would have been a better place if you sold your snake oil somewhere else. Journalists and politicians be warned we, the concerned citizens of America, are going to be watching ever more closely, vigilantly. There will be no more Walter Cronkite's and America will never trust another "journalist" to that degree ever again. Thank God.

This Congress is a Huge Joke

Seriously, who the fuck votes for these morons in Congress? Nancy Pelosi has an IQ half of that of my dog. I mean does this bitch know if she is coming or going? If any republican bitched and whined and cried this much about being lied to by the CIA they would be ridiculed and hounded for their stupidity. Nancy Pelosi is praised for it. Hey dumb bitch the CIA lies that is how they keep their jobs. The bigger the problem the more they are needed and need funding, I mean how fucking stupid can you be? I love the CIA I have to be honest. True I hate all government entities but the CIA mostly works outside the country; I see the BATF and FBI as bigger threat to citizens. These guys go overseas to do America's bidding. The spooks can torture, kill, intimidate and/or use any means necessary to extract information from foreigners and I will never have a problem with it. These are the same guys who helped win the cold war and left us the only earthly super power. Now the CIA is run by one of their own, Leon Panetta. Hell I have more intelligence experience than he does. They expect him to sell out the whole operation. The main democrat problem with them is the fact these guys helped to bring down the "evil empire" thus making everything the democrats stood for since 1918 totally and completely wrong. Well today America has forgotten the past these angry and unintelligent democrats are in power and it is payback time for all who have made them look like fools for the last 90 years. Right now they are going after the CIA, and why not they went after the armed forces already, you don't remember. Think back to the time General Petraeus betrayed them (Moveon.org) and the surge has failed (Biden, Reid et.al.), and my surge would work much better (Barack Hussein Obama). We have lost in Iraq (every dumbass democrat since 2003). How many times can these people be lied to? How many times can these people be wrong before people send them packing or better yet, storm the halls of Congress and hang these assholes from the rotunda for high crimes and treason. You know as a warning to all who follow.

But of course the follies of this congress continue to stun and amaze those of us who are reasonable thinkers. Orrin Hatch in investigating the BCS and how it may violate anti-trust laws. What the fuck are you gonna do have a government run NCAA type of organization for football. WAH! WAH! WAH! Utah did not get an invite to the championship game even after beating powerhouses UNLV, Utah State, Weber State, Wyoming, New Mexico, and San Diego State. Could you possibly be a bigger panderer? What a fucking joke of a public servant you are. No one even showed up to your hearings but you, what a tool you are. Dorks who know nothing about sports or competing do shit like this. Clearly you were picked last for dodgeball in gym class and never really participated in sports. Your team played a soft schedule they did not rank high enough to get a bid to the big game they still got millions from the BCS bowl they got. So do America a favor; go back in the corner sit down and continue to be the democrats bitch, that is what you are best at anyway. Leave America alone.

Independence Day

When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

National Identity

Do we have one? Is anyone proud to be American do we say or display it? Flag Day came and went not many flags. I went to Walmart not to participate in Obama's deepening recession. Has our historic and remarkable leader changed our standing in the world? Is there more or less pride in you own heart about being American? Do you see symbols of American pride on TV or in the Newsmedia or anything coming out of Hollywood? I will be honest I have more pride when flying my Gadsden Flag and my Confederate Battle Flag than the Stars and Stripes. The fact is the men and women in charge in America today hate the flag and all the sacrifices made for it and this nation. Even still when I see the Stars and Stripes rippling in the wind it makes me smile then the fact of the last sentence takes that smile away. So I fly the other flags knowing that men in this country fought off their oppressors under these banners and maybe one day we will be able to also. Obama campaigned on the pledge to bring America's standing in the world back again. I guess he does not care what we here in America think of where we stand.
